EXCAVATOR
According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major excavator manufacturers, 18,822 excavators of various types were sold in April 2024, a year-on-year increase of 0.27%, of which 10,782 were sold domestically, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%; 8,040 were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 13.2%.
From January to April 2024, a total of 68,786 excavators were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 9.78%; 37,228 were sold domestically, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%; and 31,558 were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 16.7%.
In April 2024, 5 electric excavators were sold (1 in the 10 to 18.5 ton class and 4 in the 18.5 to 28.5 ton class).
LOADER
According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major loader manufacturers, 9,779 loaders of various types were sold in April 2024, a year-on-year increase of 0.89%. Among them, 5,309 units were sold in the domestic market, a year-on-year increase of 0.91%; and 4,470 units were exported, a year-on-year increase of 0.86%.
From January to April 2024, a total of 36,400 loaders of various types were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 6.61%. Among them, the domestic market sales volume was 18,445 units, a year-on-year decrease of 12.5%; the export sales volume was 17,955 units, a year-on-year increase of 0.27%.
In April 2024, 940 electric loaders were sold (7 units of 3 tons, 754 units of 5 tons, 153 units of 6 tons, and 26 units of 7 tons).
